In March of 2008, the Flight Service Support Team was created to handle any problems, questions or comments related to the LAUSA AIR Fleet and its associated support software. Now in July of 2010, the FSST has been reinitiated and a new team created!

FSST Director Job Descriptions
Managing Director, Flight Services Support Team, LAUSA AIR
Managing Director will be responsible for handling and coordinating all requests issued to the Flight Services Support Team (FSST), including, but not limited to: Requests for new or revised aircraft liveries, modifications or upgrades to existing fleet aircraft, and coordination of publicity events and other activities deemed necessary by LAUSA AIR management. The Managing Director will oversee the operations of the FSST and will be required to provide timely progress reports on any and all projects undertaken by the FSST. Flight knowledge is essential, and interested applicants must hold a rank of Senior Captain or higher. The Managing Director is expected to work closely with all members of the FSST, LAUSA AIR management team, and LAUSA executive personnel, and as such, the ability to work well with others is mandatory. Manager, Fleet Coordination, LAUSA AIR
Director, Fleet Coordination is responsible for locating new aircraft suitable for use by LAUSA AIR. This includes, but is not limited to: Fully working aircraft with no known mechanical or structural defects; Virtual Cockpit rendered in decent quality allowing for unrestricted flight controlling; range and type requirement assessments as seen fit by LAUSA AIR Management. The Director, Fleet Coordination is also responsible for actively participating in the flight test process, accurately relaying necessary information to aircraft maintenance personnel for updating and retrofitting of aircraft systems, and route proving those city-pairs deemed questionable as viable, profitable routes. Aircraft modification knowledge is not required; however, the ability to work well with aircraft modifiers is necessary. LAUSA AIR. EOE.
Fleet Test Pilot, LAUSA AIR
LAUSA AIR is looking for a dependable, hard-working, self-motivated individual to join one of the fastest-growing and most-profitable virtual airlines in FSX. The Fleet Test Pilot will report to the Director, Fleet Coordination and will be responsible for ensuring aircraft are fit for service prior to launch. Other duties include those deemed necessary by the Director, Fleet Coordination. Superb flying skills are a must, with emphasis on close-formation, and commercial-level test pilot experience a top priority. Interested applicants should be a LAUSA member in good standing, and employed with LAUSA AIR or LAUSA AIR CARGO holding a rank of Senior Captain or higher. Compensation for flight time will be issued according to actual hours spent in the flight test process. Employment is conditional, pending review by the FSST Managing Director. LAUSA AIR. EOE.
Manager, Maintenance Control, LAUSA AIR
Director, Maintenance Control is responsible for proper and efficient upgrading and up keeping of the LAUSA AIR fleet. This includes, but is not limited to: Preparation of aircraft set to enter the LAUSA AIR fleet; Test flying all aircraft before release to the Fleet Coordinator; Upgrading and retrofitting of all aircraft systems; Trouble-shooting mechanical and electrical issues throughout the LAUSA AIR fleet; and General Maintenance and repairs of LAUSA owned and leased aircraft. The Director, Maintenance Control is also responsible for ensuring that all aircraft released to the Fleet Coordinator are in good-working order and will be required to actively participate in the flight test process. Flight knowledge is essential, and the ability to work well with aircraft test pilots is necessary. LAUSA AIR. EOE.
Maintenance Technician, LAUSA AIR

Communication skills are a plus as working closely with other members of the Flight Services Support Team is required. Interested applicants should be a LAUSA member in good standing, and employed with LAUSA AIR or LAUSA AIR CARGO holding a rank of Senior Captain or higher. Compensation for flight time will be issued according to actual hours spent in the upgrade/maintenance process. Maintenance Technician is a per diem, as needed position, but all interested applicants are encouraged to apply. Employment is conditional pending review by the FSST Managing Director. LAUSA AIR. Manager, Paint/Machine Shop Services, LAUSA AIR
Director, Paint/Machine Shop Services is responsible for the transition of new aircraft into the LAUSA AIR fleet. This includes, but is not limited to: Coordination of aircraft livery to maintain a systematic continuity throughout the LAUSA AIR fleet, Repainting acquired aircraft to match the current LAUSA AIR fleet; Development of new aircraft liveries to commemorate special occasions or milestones, or other such activities; The overall up keeping of the paint and other associated services required by LAUSA AIR Management; and other Paint/Machine shop duties as LAUSA AIR Management may require. The Director, Paint/Machine Shop Services is also to actively participate in the flight testing of all new aircraft, and will be the pilot of choice for promotional and other photographic or video requirements. Flight knowledge is essential, and the ability to work well with aircraft test pilots and maintenance

Paint Shop Technician, LAUSA AIR
LAUSA AIR is looking for a creative, motivated individual looking to join the paint shop at our Melbourne, Australia headquarters. Knowledge of the aircraft painting and repainting process is necessary, as is the ability to work unsupervised to meet specific deadlines and goals. The Paint Shop Technician will answer to the Manager, Paint/Machine Shop and FSST Managing Director, and will be required to provide his or her own photo-manipulation software prior to employment and access to the internet is required to submit projects. This is not a learning position, and interested applicants should have sufficient knowledge of both hardware and software requirements. LAUSA AIR asks a sample aircraft livery be submitted with any inquiry into the position. All applicants must be a LAUSA member in good standing.
